Hueo: Color & Light Trackers

These terms and conditions apply to the Hueo app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Antar Corrado (the "Service Provider"). By downloading or using the Application you agree to them. Please read them before using the Application.

1. Licence

The Application is licensed to you, not sold. For copies obtained through the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies, and these terms supplement it; where the two conflict on a point covered by Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA prevails.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Application on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify or distribute the Application, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source code, or create derivative versions of it. All trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the Application, including the built-in color library and its calibration data, remain with the Service Provider or its licensors. Brand names of filter gels referenced in the library belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

2. Free features and Hueo Pro

The Application is free to download and its core features (the gel library, the color picker and the CCT mode) are free to use. Additional features are offered under the Hueo Pro in-app purchase: VFX Trackers, Favourites and Hide All.

Hueo Pro is available in two forms:

• Hueo Pro (1 Year): an auto-renewing subscription of 12 months.
• Hueo Pro (Lifetime): a one-time purchase, with no recurring charge.

Prices are shown inside the Application in your local currency before you confirm, as supplied by the store. The Service Provider may change prices for future purchases and renewals; a price change affecting an active subscription is notified by the store and requires your consent where the law or store rules demand it.

3. Auto-renewing subscription

The following applies to the yearly plan:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (or Google Play account) upon confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for another 12 months unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price then in effect for your plan.
• You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your store account settings, after purchase.
• Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten or refund the period already paid for, and you keep Hueo Pro until that period ends.
• Deleting the Application does not cancel the subscription.

4. Restoring purchases

Purchases are tied to the store account used to buy them. If you reinstall the Application or use another device with the same store account, tap Restore Purchases in the Hueo Pro screen to recover your entitlement. The Application keeps a local record of your entitlement so that Hueo Pro keeps working while the device is offline.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their own policies. The Service Provider cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests for the App Store go through reportaproblem.apple.com; nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights consumers have under applicable law.

6. Colors, calibration and intended use

The color library and the CCT mode are calibrated at D65 (6500 K), but what actually leaves the screen depends on your device: its display panel and its age, the brightness level, the ambient light, and system features such as Night Shift, True Tone and automatic brightness. Switch these off for the most faithful result.

The Application is a creative and preview tool. It is provided as a visual reference and as an on-set light source, and it is not a measuring instrument: it does not replace a colorimeter, a spectrometer or a physical filter gel, and no guarantee is given that a color shown on screen matches a physical gel or a lighting fixture within any given tolerance. Decisions with a professional or commercial cost (a purchase of gels, a shot, a grade) should be verified with proper measurement.

7. Use of your device

Some features of the Application deliberately keep the screen on at high brightness with the display filled by a solid color. Prolonged use in this state consumes battery faster and can make the device warm; this is the normal behaviour of the device, not a fault of the Application. You are responsible for keeping your device charged and for using it safely, and you remain responsible for the security of your device and for any use of the Application made through it.

Some functions (purchases and their restoration) require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible for the Application not working at full capacity where there is no connectivity, and any data charges from your mobile operator, including roaming charges, are yours.

The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device: doing so may compromise its security, may make the Application malfunction, and may allow the Hueo Pro entitlement stored locally to be tampered with.

8. Third-party services

The Application relies on services provided by Apple, Google (Android only), RevenueCat and Expo, each with its own terms. Purchase data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future device or operating system version.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Application, including loss of work, of a shot, or of business opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, in particular the mandatory rights of consumers under Italian and EU consumer law are unaffected.

10. Updates and termination

The Application may be updated from time to time; some updates may be required for it to keep working, and support for older operating system versions may end. The Service Provider may also stop offering the Application. Upon termination, the rights granted under these terms end and you must stop using the Application and remove it from your device; entitlements already purchased remain governed by the store's rules.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
